1-Week Intensives

📅 2026 Dates:
- July 20 - 24
- August 17 - 21
🕒 Mon - Fri, 9am - 3pm
📍 Yes! And… Collaborative Arts Main Building

Kids arrive and start the day with a specific morning project that then leads into a time of warm-up. They are then ushered into classes that focus on the skills being explored in the intensive. Students work closely with a couple of specific artist teachers throughout the week to end in a presentation of the skills learned.

Themes:
July 20 - 24, Oral Traditions: A Storytelling Intensive
- In this one-week storytelling intensive, middle schoolers will learn about oral traditions, how to engage with people as they tell their stories, and all the different ways we can start with a simple story and end up with a show.
August 17 - 21, Puppets & Zines! -
In this week long intensive, campers will focus on visual arts: combine collage, drawing, writing, poetry, storytelling, book binding, and any other art forms we can think of to create their own zine! We’ll also be making puppets! Join us to explore elements of sculpture, theatre, design, and character work as we ask–what is a puppet, and more importantly, what isn’t?

TUITION AND FEES

Our Theatre Camps are offered on a sliding scale basis from $5 - $350 per week. Full scholarships are also available.

We are fully committed to welcoming a diverse group of campers and work to ensure our programs are accessible to everyone, regardless of economic means. Our sliding scale tuition fees ensure that our campers represent an economically, racially, and culturally diverse community.

Yes! And…’s sliding scale tuition is based on the principle that a family’s financial commitment should be in equitable proportion to its financial resources. The direct cost of camp is $350 per week. If possible, we invite those with more financial resources to pay above $350 to help offset the costs of those with less resources. Families with less financial resources are invited to apply for Camperships, the lower tiers of the sliding scale ($5-$349). Full Camperships are also available. Camperships are available to anyone who needs one and no documentation is required.

All tuition must be paid in full by May 1, 2025. After this date tuition will need to be paid at the time of registration. If this is not possible, please reach out to us to discuss a payment schedule.

*Refunds will not be granted to campers who leave camp by their own choice.

*Campers may transfer to an alternate session, if space permits, without penalty.

*Any refunds will be made to the individual who made the original payment.

BEFORE AND AFTER CARE

Some of our families need to utilize a longer day of care for their family. For the past few years, we have been happy to offer extended enrichment times for these families. Campers who stay longer are teamed with a Staff member and help set-up, tear down or are utilized to further our imaginative story with crafts, building sets, and more.

  • Before Care opens at 8am

  • Late Care closes at 5pm

Extended care is $8/hour and can be added by the day or the week, but we do require a week’s notice in order to have proper staff coverage. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer scholarships to cover before and after care as the money goes right to the staff members responsible for the care.

Please note your need for extended care on your registration form so that we can send you the Extended Care Sign Up Form.

UPCOMING PERFORMANCES

Every camp culminates in an original performance. We can’t tell you what they are because your child will be part of the writing and creation process! What we can tell you is that these showcases are exciting, celebratory, and always an adventure.
