Sea You In Paradise

It’s finally summer; school’s out and fun is officially in! Join the Huddle Family for their first-ever cruise vacation to Cape Da. With promises of bottomless banana splits and poolside splendor, what could go wrong? In short–everything! From rogue teachers you were hoping to never see again, clueless adults, and a kooky mystery, the Huddles are in for a true adventure (whether they like it or not). Is there any chance of salvaging vacation, or is this summer officially a bust?

About Sea You In Paradise:

This year’s production is the 10th annual Summer Sort of Thing family musical theatre event! Sea You in Paradise features 20 students ages 12-18 from Yes! And... Collaborative Arts programming. The children hail from Philadelphia neighborhoods in Germantown, Mt. Airy, and others. The Summer Sort of Thing program is a 4-week intensive camp that prepares our young actors for the stage. Several of the middle and high school performers were last seen in Yes! And… Collaborative Arts’ 2026 Winter Sort of Thing production of It’s About Time!.

Celebrate our 10th year of performances!

On Friday, July 24 — the closing night of the Summer Sort of Thing — we're excited to host the Sea You in Paradise Summer Festival, beginning at 5:00 pm, one hour before the final performance. The free festival at Holman Field will bring together community organizations, sponsors, and neighbors in celebration!

Confirmed community partners include: Germantown CDC, #Philly.TeenJobs, Natural Creativity Center, Fringe Arts, the offices of Rep. André Carroll, Pomona Cherokee Civic Council, Mt. Airy Art Garage, Germantown Mennonite Church, the Philadelphia Film Society and Wesley Enhanced Living. Festival treats will include Frios Pops, Herr's Chips, popcorn, and soft pretzels!

July 24th also marks the premiere of the first annual Yes! And... Day of Giving, a new tradition rallying community-wide support for youth arts access in a single day.
We hope to see you there!
