    Join us for a day of play when school is closed! These single day workshops are offered once per month when Philly Schools are closed for holidays or professional development.

    Each play day is like a mini camp day full of our favorite games, activities and adventures! A day of play and creativity is a great way to spend a day off from school.

Day off from school? Join us for a Play Day! These once-a-month workshops provide a fun, creative, and imaginative experience when school is closed.

After arriving, kids will start with a specific morning project and warm-up. The days activities range from games to specific exercise in acting, movement, visual arts, and storytelling. Lunch time will be accompanied by outside games and fun if weather permits.

 

TUITION AND FEES

 

Our Play Day programs are offered on a sliding scale basis from $5 - $80 per Play Day. Full scholarships are also available.  

We are fully committed to welcoming a diverse group of students and work to ensure our programs are accessible to everyone, regardless of economic means. Our sliding scale tuition fees ensure that our students represent an economically, racially, and culturally diverse community. 

Yes! And…’s sliding scale tuition is based on the principle that a family’s financial commitment should be in equitable proportion to its financial resources. The direct cost of a Play Day is $80 per Play Day. If possible, we invite those with more financial resources to pay above $80 to help offset the costs of those with less resources. Families with less financial resources are invited to apply for Camperships, the lower tiers of the sliding scale ($5-$79). Full Camperships are also available. Camperships are available to anyone who needs one and no documentation is required.

Tuition is due in full to secure your spot after registration.

    If you choose to pay by credit card conveniently online through Jumbula, a 3% fee will be added to your to your total camp cost.

    Parents who wish to pay in cash are welcome to make payment arrangements in-person with us. Please contact us to schedule a time.

  • Campership
    Does your child have an artistic itch they want to scratch but you don't think you can afford the cost of the program? Our policy is to find a way for every child to attend if they want to! Simply click on the box labeled "Camperships" and we will contact you right away. Act quickly as these slots fill up fast!

  • Once we have reserved a spot for your child, you will be responsible for payment for the you have selected chosen, even if your child is absent (with some minor exceptions listed below). No refunds will be permitted within 5 days of your schedule Play Day. 

    Additional Refund exceptions:

       *A child who becomes ill or injured on the day of their workshop MAY receive a prorated refund as determined by the Program Director.  

      *Refunds will be granted before your scheduled week of programming for reasons of illness, injury (a doctor’s certification may be requested) or death in the immediate family.

    Please note the following:  

    *Refunds will not be granted for scheduling conflicts or no-shows. *Refunds will not be granted to students who leave the Play Day by their own choice.  
    *Students may transfer to an alternate day, if space permits, without penalty.  
    *Any refunds will be made to the individual who made the original payment.

 

AFTER CARE

 

Some of our families need to utilize a longer day of care for their family. For the past few years, we have been happy to offer extended enrichment times for these families. After Care care closes at 5pm and is $8/hour. We do require advanced notice in order to have proper staff coverage. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer scholarships to cover after care as the money goes right to the staff members responsible for the care.

REGISTER FOR PLAY DAYS

 

Spots are limited and fill quickly! Registration will remain open until all spots are filled or the program begins.

Click the button to complete the registration via our online platform, Jumbula. Estimated time for completion is 5-10 minutes. Once you submit the form you are expected to make a deposit or pay in full. If you selected a Scholarship amount, a deposit or confirmation is also required at check-out.
