Please Note: In order to be considered for summer employment with Y!A, you must be available for the dates and times related to your program of interest, including All Staff Training, Staff Role Trainings, Site Trainings and then of course, for the duration of the program. Please also note that 'Program Hours' refer to the time WITH kids. All Staff should expect to meet both before and after 'Program Hours' daily. Additionally, most performances will occur in the evening, as well as Set Builds and Strike during the final week of the program - all staff are expected to participate fully in such events. Training dates and times TBA - please note that there is general staff training, site specific training and those dates have yet to be determined. IF you are being considered for a position, the Program Director will contact you about setting up an interview. You will be informed about our pay rates during your interview. Yes! And… will be offering contracts for Summer Employment no later than May 1. (If you do not hear from us by then, we kindly thank you for your interest, but are unable to offer you a position at this time.) All summer staff are hired as Independent Contractors, and are therefore responsible for the declaration and payment of all income taxes as determined by local, state and federal tax law.
