Fall Classes - starting in October

K-4th grades

Medieval Times (Movement & Acting)
What is more exciting than exploring a time when Kings & Queens ruled the land and knights fought Dragons?! Our youngest artists will learn how to tell these stories and more using their bodies with beginning acting and dance techniques.

Tuesdays, 4:00pm-5:00pm - $120.00 ($12 per class)

5th-8th grades

Character Creation
Young artists will dive deeper in the skills needed to create new characters and tell their stories. This class will focus on acting and storytelling skills with two of our best summer artist teachers!

For High Schoolers

Advanced Acting
Come perfect your skills in this 10-week advanced acting class. This class is for Shadow members who already participate in Shadow Company or high schoolers who would like to learn more about our high school company.

General Info

10 or 12 weeks of classes. Classes begin the week of October 3 and go through the week of December 13. We will have off for Thanksgiving Break (November 21).

Classes are held at our homebase - 21 W. Washington Ln. in Germantown (Visit Google map.)

Studio rates are competitive and we also offer scholarships if needed.

Grades and ages are approximate. Please talk to a staff member to see what classes are right for your child's developmental stage.

Classes are just $12 a session and last 1 hour. Please arrive early so your child can have the full hour of instruction.

Parents are welcome to either drop off their child, or sit in our office during the session. We have wi-fi!

Meet our Artist Teachers

Heather McBride is a Philadelphia-based, actor, improv performer, and photographer. She is a Summer Camp Director and has worked with our Sort of Thing program as an administrator and actor. We are so excited to have her with us. SSOT Rehearsal

Lindsey Jaynes dances and teaches dance throughout the Philadelphia area. She is one of our favorite Summer Camp movement teachers and has worked on our Summer Sort of Thing shows.

Gavin Whitt specializes in theatre, performance, and acting. He will join us this fall after performing his solo show at the Chicago Fringe Festival. This summer he joined our staff as an acting teacher at Theatre Camp. We are really excited to have him with us for studio!

Emily Parker is an actor in Philadelphia working at her own theatre company, Indecorous Theatre Productions. She worked with us this summer in every staff role possible! We are excited that she will continue working with us this fall in studio and after school.
