Join us as we celebrate 10 years of the annual Winter Sort of Thing. This year’s musical revue is a trip through all the fun, hijinks, and even some ernest truths about the challenges of childhood, that families have grown to love. Everyone’s favorite characters are coming back including the daffy determination of Mother Nature, the cavalier precision of Father Time along with some pretty dastardly villains like Captain Papadopoulos and Octavia the Lunch Lady. Come join Yes! And… Collaborative Arts for an adventure through a decade of magic and merry-making.

As one of Yes! And... Collaborative Arts’ largest and most successful programs, the goal of Winter Sort of Thing (WSOT) is to use the process of creating and producing a full length musical as a way to challenge, stretch, and teach young people the value of hard work as well as collaborative and creative thinking.
YACA believes that as important as building skills from voice projection to self confidence, one of the most important gifts we can give the young cast is experience. Collaborating with a large and diverse group of people including adult professionals, working on a professional stage, and performing (and performing well) in front of over a thousand people over the course of the program are the sorts of experiences that expand a child's vision and faith in their own capacity, fulfilling our overall mission!
Previous experience necessary
In order for your child to be considered for this program, previous YACA experience is required. Please inquire about the program using the form on this "Contact us" page.
