High schoolers, are you ready?

Over the course of three days, write, rehearse and perform in your original theatre piece. This time, we partner with area motion arts companies to bring us a unique experience! We will work in front of and behind the camera as we imagine, write, create and perform brand new Public Service Announcements. Come and have a wonderful time!

The High School Weekend Play-Building Festival is the newest program for high school students from Yes! And... Students will have the opportunity to work alongside some of Philadelphia's finest arts educators as they learn the basics of writing and directing by creating an original short play.

Start your weekend off right with a fun-filled night of food, new friends, games, and some instruction and brainstorming. Then, Saturday, dive into writing and creating along with direction from artist teachers and your peers. On Sunday, clean up and finish rehersing your product. We'll showcase all of our works and then give ourselves time to talk, debreif and announce the next installment of the High School Weekend Play-Building Festivals!

Cost: $25 per student (payable on Friday of Program)
