The next summer, camp moved from Cornerstone Academy to the Germantown Theatre Center (GTC), where the theme was Maps. The show ,“A Hard Nights Dream,” revealed that all our hopes and dreams are jewels guarded in the cave of wonders, and we are very sure that it was the first time that it was revealed that there was such a thing as EEEEVIL WATER BOTTLES. Again at Eastern University the theme was “Portals,” and the campers explored what would happen if you were sucked from one world to another. Shatondeon (who stole good words and made them bad) threatened language itself, and the Red Hots and Marion the Librarian worked together defeat him. (The secret? Jell-O.) The camps were able to send messages to each other, trying to help each other figure out what to do with their problems with Shatondeon and the EEEVIL WATER BOTTES. There was a lot of good advice passed back and forth between Eastern and GTC.
This is the promotional video that our friend, Jamie Moffett shot and edited. One of the things it hightlights is how far we've come since then, but still have the same excitement! Jamie's come pretty far himself
